The headboard is coming along , and as I suspected I have another order already , Sophie wants one too . This velvet is to die for , this reminds me of the blue velvet headboard that was in the master bedroom of my Oma and Opa's house.I was able to find the perfect trim and the local upholstery supply shop makes the covered buttons on site , if you are making a piece with fabric covered buttons you should check out your local suppliers to see if they offer this service , because there is nothing worse than buttons that fall apart {the do it yourself kind}.
Looks like I can have this baby done sooner than later.
Oh and did I tell you I will have my new slipcovered settee back by tomorrow evening, happy!
