The trim pieces on the front of the playhouse were rotting and falling off , so I took the left over cedar shingles as remedied the problem , I think it is much cuter now , now I just have to stain them pale grey like all the other shingles on the house, but I must say I do like the natural cedar too . You can see what a difference staining the fence dark makes , I am so glad I finally did that , I just need to add some more perennial to the right side of the playhouse , just waiting for them to get marked down , love those late season purchases.
