a severe peanut allergy, anaphylaxis, as long as she avoids, peanuts, tree nuts and seafood she will be just fine, which makes it necessary for her to wear a epi belt, with her life saving needle in case an emergency arises,so far no such occasion has come up that has required her to experience such a traumatic event, lets hope we can avoid that always. The belt has been a hard pill to swallow for Sophie, as a very shy kid , this is a problem for it causes attention or questions, what is that? why do you wear it ?even once a threat of bodily harm from a kindergartner, who wanted to see the contents ,she surely would choose to live with out this attention.
So since she is joining the 5 day a week school crew , it needs to be worn everyday , I offered to make it more appealing by adding ribbon, it looks so much more stylish. Sophie seems to like it.
Look at that happy face, she really is a doll.
