Homesense goodies

Black side table , and most decor items on the shelf and table of course are from Homesense.
Chair is from Homesense , it was yellow , I painted it black and recovered the cushion.

Chair I got for a great deal , I added the nailhead detail.

Lanterns I added the paper to .

The silver lined lampshade I got from Homesense and used to create this hanging fixture for the powder room .

The wire window box was a gift from my mother and the buckets I also found at HS were great to hold ice and drinks as well as magazine for the outside deck.

The perfect pillow HS.

The green pillow my daughter picked for her reno'd playhouse.

Lantern and crown from HS .

Best and cutest cream garbage can HS.

I am a big fan of Homesense , which is Home Goods sister store in Canada.
What have you found at Homesense or Home Goods, would you like to share?

We have a HomeSense in our town and where I work. I always check out their design books.I picked up 3 PotteryBarn hard cover design books, Outdoor Spaces, Workrooms and DiningRooms, each one from $7-$14. Also, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams 'Let's Get Comfortable" that is $50 at Chapters for $8 (NEW). Some really pretty footed sundae bowls (in a great blue glass). Lots more stuff too. I should do a similar post and share it with you. Have a great day.

We don't have one here! I'm always reading about the goodies you guys get. And I'm so envious that you have this seemingly wonderful place to shop. By the way, you're a very talented gal, creating all that you do!

Homegoods/TJ Maxx is the first place I go to pick up stuff for my home, and for reasonably priced gifts for my girlfriends and family! The have great, new things every week...if you don't find what you are looking for...go back next week...I love to just walk through and get inspired...I don't even mind leaving empty handed...and their return policy is great!

I've learned over the years that HOMEGOOD, ROSS, TJ MAXX are my weaknesses - and when in doubt, stay out!
Yet, I wander/venture right in - Luckily, I've been able to catch incredible deals and sales - there are even some thrift stores that I absolutely love - In venturing through your site girl, you are one creative chick! I mean, you have inspired me to PAINT! Now I just need energy - I work full time and ONLY WISH that I had that much time on my hands to redo my 8 year old daughter's room, paint my foyer/bedrooms and hang new blinds and shower curtains - You should see the beautiful stuff I have at ho me - tucked away wishing I had the TIME - I'm a career woman trying to stay inspired - trying to make my house a home -
I need encouragement - GOT SOME GIRL? HELP!
Your site is a beauty and a 'keeper' that I've tucked away in my 'faves'!!!

I love me some Home Goods! :-) I love that you've taken what you can find "off the shelf" and make it your own through some paint, nailhead trim (LOVE that!) or paper. I went to Home Goods yesterday in fact...for a pair of king sized pillow cases (not very exciting I'm afraid. :-) I stayed focused and left with only the cases. Yay, me!
