Details

Its almost like where's Waldo ? , what did I do now , right?

I found a couple of wood light switch covers , and thought that they would be perfect for the dining room wall where the light switched and thermostat are all nicely clumped together. I know they need to be somewhere but all together right there is not where I would have chosen . So I just painted them the same shade as the stripe they inhabit and I think they blend right in , it is a small improvement , for me it is all in the details .

OMG, I just posted about this.

I'm a fan of the painted switch covers! I probably wouldn't have noticed the clustering of light switches/thermostat until you pointed it out. But now that you have, I think it looks 100% better blended into the wall color.

P.S. I love how all the screws are in the vertical direction (for me, it's horizontal!) LOL, I'm glad someone else shares in my OCD idiosyncracies!
