The mistake I made was that I tiled before I upgraded the trim, so I needed to build out the small area to allow for a generous casing, I also updated the blinds with this lovely bamboo, it picks up the wall color , and the dark bits echo the dark floors in the family room area of the room, the sun has been irritating me this time of year I wake up to blaring sun in my eyes when I am trying to make breakfast and lunches and have wanted a more filtering blind.So much prettier , or cleaner , yes cleaner, updated, now I just need to sand a fill the holes and paint.... that doesn't sound like much fun does it?
