Winter wreath

I think things turn out often how they are meant to be , if I had been able to find the tinsel wreath I have been looking for that I thought I needed I would have never bought this white wreath of mums and feathers ,after a lot of doubting I knew I could make more of it , but I wanted to keep it simple , I hot glued on flocked pine cones from Homesense , the wreath is from Homesense also , then I simply sewed up a sash out of linen I had left over , so subtle and charming .... I wanted to steer clear of an typical greens in the house . Happy!

It's beautiful! What a great find. I'd be walking through the room from different angles, over and over, just to look at it. ;-) I say this because I do that when I add something pretty, lol.

Hi Chris, thanks again for telling me where to find the knobs at Michaels. Limited choices but today I found three I'm happy with and they were only $1.50.
I love Homesense! Unfortunately the nearest one is about 2 hours away.
Pretty wreath and fits in perfectly in your home.

Hello sweet Chris - I have been in a blogging "funk" since July. I miss writing. I wanted you to know that over the last 4 months even though I've been out of the loop I have been visiting you almost every day. Your blog has always been so inspiring and fun for me since I started blogging early '09. Loaded with eye candy and lots of FAB decorating ideas. I've always admired your chalkboard with the change of seasons. I have one on my hutch that I do the same with.

Thank you for being you and being so encouraging even when you don't know it!

Blessings,
Marie
