making my own trim for the chair update

I cut 1 1/2 inch strips of fabric on the bias to create the trim to cover the staples , I ironed it into a tidy strip

I then zig zagged the strips to keep it all together.

then I hot glued the strips all around the edges to finish it off , click the photo to enlarge for more detail.

Its so pretty it might just stay in the family room after all.

Thanks so much for letting us know the "how to" for the trim. It looks just fantastic. I always check the reverse side of fabric as there are often some very nice surprises hidden behind there!

Your chair just looks SO pretty! You've given me the confidence to tackle a chair project of my own that I've put off for a while! Now if I can just finish my kitchen.... :)
