I cut 1 1/2 inch strips of fabric on the bias to create the trim to cover the staples , I ironed it into a tidy strip
I then zig zagged the strips to keep it all together.
then I hot glued the strips all around the edges to finish it off , click the photo to enlarge for more detail.
Its so pretty it might just stay in the family room after all.
