I am not quite here yet , Christmas decor will have to wait till next week , I have instead been working on little projects , like waxing my black painted cupboard , decorating my daughters porch , re-building her bed cornice and hemming the drapes around her bed, adding a co-ordinating fabric to the master bath shower curtain to tie in the bedroom drapes , making more linen pillow cases , filling the chalkboard with Christmasy words , working on a school project with Sophie so the decor will still have to wait .
What else do I need to do :
paint the kitchen ceiling
paint the girls bathroom
finish Mason's trim
paint Mason's dresser
and clean clean clean , I know I am forgetting a million things I need to do.Wish me luck and energy please.
I think things turn out often how they are meant to be , if I had been able to find the tinsel wreath I have been looking for that I thought I needed I would have never bought this white wreath of mums and feathers ,after a lot of doubting I knew I could make more of it , but I wanted to keep it simple , I hot glued on flocked pine cones from Homesense , the wreath is from Homesense also , then I simply sewed up a sash out of linen I had left over , so subtle and charming .... I wanted to steer clear of an typical greens in the house . Happy!
