Sugar cookie icing recipe

So simple, it is royal icing, I separate eggs using only the whites , I use 3 eggs whites for about 2 cups of icing sugar(but I have never measured), I whip the eggs whites in my mixer and slowly add icing sugar until I get the right consistency than I add paste food coloring, actually I think the hand mixer is best for this job, and just one beater works better than two, I made this batch a bit thicker for outlining, and then added more egg whites and and icing sugar until it is a little runnier for filling in.
There is not a measurement for this its just by eye , and it is just by trial and error .
When you bag the lining consistency icing , I wet a paper towel and place it at the bottom of a tall glass , to keep the icing bag in so that it does not crust, very important tip, this icing dries very quickly and need to be moves constantly , damp paper towels are handy to prevent drying out, I line the cookie shape and wait 5-10 minutes before filling in the outline, I use a tooth pick to help the icing into the corners.

The cupcake recipe was simple , I bought crushed graham cracker crumbs , and added melted butter and sugar , to make a crust , added them to the papers and pressed down with a glass , baked 8 minutes at 350 , I then used a box mix of devil's food cake chocolate mix added a bit of crust mixture on top before baking , baked following directions and vanilla icing after they cooled ,marshmallow on top , easy easy.

for five years now, just recently Debbie Travis has teamed up with this home builder and redecorated 8 model homes around the GTA(greater Toronto are) we are close to 3 one in our neighbourhood and two near by so today we decided to take a look at these very decorated models...I thought you too might enjoy a peak inside so here goes... This is a stunning dining room, there have been a lot of wall papers used in these looks, a lot of flocked papers.
This is one of the nicest kitchens I have seen, the ceilings were 10 feet tall and the cabinets went right to the ceiling no space wasted, and look at those pots. The photo does not do this space justice it is so tall in there

this is the adjoining family room, beautiful light fixture.

I am in love with all these decorated laundry rooms, this wallpaper was so pretty , flocked , glass tile back splash.

This is a perfect room for Sophie she wouldn't change a thing.

I found this dress at www.okaidi.com a new European children's clothing shop at our local mall, and would you believe I found size 4, 6, 10, 10 and 14 for all the flower girls in my mother's wedding, perfect, its such a classy dress, very nice details , and well priced , it will be perfect for the outdoor wedding. It's been busy here , sorry no makeovers or recent home improvements to share , I have been baking my little hands off lately , wow I am tired, this is why I never made it a career, I feel grimy from all the butter, and my hands are so dry from all the icing sugar, and the kitchen needs a hose, powdered sugar gets everywhere. I will be happy for a break.
