Finding new things to do.

Like this little window in this Design Inc photo .

As I was taking a photo of a project I have been hesitant to do, I saw a new view of my room,

I have always wanted to have a small window or opening, perhaps with a shutter ?? I think that area is crying for something architectural. I don't know how to do such a thing , but I figure poking a hole is a great start. A purchsed piece of mass produced art or salvage is not at all what I have in mind nothing superficial.

*this is an iterior wall on the other side is a washroom.

Although my photo shop example is very crude, imagine it with lovely mouldings, and perhaps a charming shutter that can open or close, depending on the privacy level the person inside the principal bathroom likes, it would flood sunlight through for much of the afternoon.

I am very much a color girl , I love painted furniture, many shades of blue, we have decided to purchase a big screen LCD tv for our front parlour, which will mean at least a new cupboard for the tele and probably a comfy yet cute chair like the one here as wicker isn't meant for long movie watching marathon's, harder to find in real live world, but I will search and try not to spend too much.
Now isn't this an inspiring lot.....

A little bit of Texas came to town.

Now my first experience with ribs trying them that is was when I was 20 , I would never try them before as they are so messy and barbaric, however the batch my father made were devine, and I do love some good ribs, but I was not about to brave those line-ups , it was a last minute visit to Rib-fest after lunch.
The kids gave us a sob story that Oma wouldn't let them ride the amusement rides the day before, so I decided we would give them three rides, first one the Chinese dragon ride was fine, the second was a death trap, my youngest was clearly too small to ride it , but they let her on, and the door wasn't locked properly , it was really scary, Todd told me to calm down, but later felt my fear, never again, no travelling amusement rides, they are garbage, even Sophie changed her mind on one after seeing how wobbly and crappy everything was.
