I was so excited to hear from a reader that my home was even more extensively featured on http://www.womansday.com/ titled A Charming Home Makeover , 25 photos including my in depth interview with Ayn-Monique Klahre of Woman's Day Magazine , I wish I had known about it , I really had no idea thank you Elizabeth for letting me know.

Great photos. Lots of wonderful inspiration.
What a wonderful feature and beautiful home!
I love your decorating style. The colors are so fresh. The design is friendly and welcoming. It reminds me so much of my mother's eclectic taste. She can make a purse out of soda can tabs with tourqoise crocheted threads and jewelry out of wire coat hangers that are forged and polished. I know she loves your blog and so do I. wow - I haven't seen a home on the blog for a while where I've thought "gee I wish that were my home" but this one I did! love that desk/chair combo!!!
So great! They should have used so many more of your photo's in the magazine. You have so many beautiful details throughout your home! Hope you enjoy a wonderful Saturday!
Congratulations! How exciting and well deserved.
That is so wonderful! Your home is GORGEOUS!! Congrats!!
Amazing. And a photo of your side table is also featured in their article about Decorator's Secrets.
Wow! It looks so fresh.
Charming indeed! I have a coastal home, too, and love everything turquoise and white.

Just received my copy of WD in the mail today! Flipping through I thought...I know that room.
Yep, I did and had totally forgotten that your home was going to be featured. My short term memory and all. ha.
Congrats!!! The pictures are so beautiful.

I really enjoy your blog--it's chock full of great ideas! Congrats on the magazine feature.
Q: where did you get the floral fabric--i think it's beautiful!!
Chris, congratulations! What a wonderful honor. And your home looks simply amazing. I have always loved the pretty colors you use. And your awesome ideas. Well done! xoxo tami
congratulations!! lovely photos!
Congrats how exciting! I had to do a double-take with that first kitchen shot - mine is positioned exactly the same... The stove, white cabinets, the fridge, the chalkboard :) oh! And i love that charming fabric on the chair!
Congratulations on your home feature. What a great finish to all your hard work (although I'm sure you still have projects swirling around in your mind).
I'm curious as to what the perforated metal sheeting is called that you have in the cabinet door insert. I was looking for it at HD, but had no idea what the correct name is or where to look. I need to hide our hot water heater and already have an old screen frame.
Thanks!
Have a great day!
Not a problem, Chris! While I enjoyed the article in the magazine I knew your home had so many more great photo worthy ideas, so I went online to see if they included more.
This is a brilliant idea! Maybe I can apply this idea to our kitchen makeover plan! Yesterday, the ornamental iron doors and metal spiral stairs have been installed in our kitchen. By next week, we will paint our kitchen walls. I think it is good to paint it white. So it would look simple and clean.
