Before: white and bright , and I like this too but I thought it could be better or just even different. Can you spot all of the changes I have made?

I decided recently that one of my back to school projects was going to be painting all the remaining white doors black , why it has taken me so long I don't know , I think it looks sharp , and a little glamorous too , and here is the nicest part , they look clean longer than white doors, with two small dogs that like to open doors with their faces you can imagine a little mess gets left behind , I apologize.

And the camera hog shot , of course...

Love the black doors and am thinking I might do the same! I have three boys and three dogs so I think it will be a perfect solution to the messes they leave(;
Love it, no puppy was just helping out by showing how he could not mark up the bottom of the door anymore.
The door looks like jewelry now... perfect!!!
It's gorgeous. I've been wanting to paint my master bedroom door and now you've got me convinced!!

It looks great! I painted my mudroom door black and plan to paint my back door black too because like you say, it hides the dirt! Your new stripes on the wall look awesome too! Did you just do that too?
This looks just great!! The dark doors make a big difference!

I love it! I've been slowly painting my doors a dark navy/almost black. Makes them really stand out and look rich and striking.
Great job!
The door looks very "rich". I ike the strips you added on the wakk as well!
I really like how it turned out Chris! You never stop, do you?!!!
Oh, by the way, I made cupcakes and thought of you, but mine looked nice, but tasted like dung! lol...

Love the strips! We're planning on having an accent wall with some stripes when we get our first home! Can't wait to decorate and start painting! :) Have a great weekend and thanks for sharing!

Hey there! I found you the other day by way of my friend's blog. It looks like you and I have been busy doing the very same thing... and I just finished it up this weekend and posted about it today! I actually linked to your blog. Here's my post about it: http://thecozycape.blogspot.com/2010/09/paint-puppies-and-doors-oh-my.html
Wow, that looks so nice! I love the door color! I've started painting mine a dark expresso brown that translates "black". I'm loving it!
Love the black, so dramatic. Looks perfect with your dining room.
