You can see here how the v-groove turned out . I love it . The island is a very subtle blue color called Gentle Tide by glidden .
I re-installed the towel bar .
I still have some work to do under the over hang , but I am not in the mood to re-do right now.

Looks beautiful! We have a small "bar area" in our kitchen we are adding beadboard too and this makes me so much more excited for it. Btw, that blue color (and your dishes) are absolutely lovely.

My kitchen is very similar - and my island color is almost the same! It's Castle Walls by Benjamin Moore. What are your dishes?? They are perfect!
