I love this small wing chair in this brown linen , for around $600.00 it is a nice updated wing...
This was my fave , a numbered key holder , I am so mad it is blurry , I WANT THAT ...
We had a girl day , went to the doctor, and not "bad" news but Sophie is still allergic to peanuts , but that is OK because we know how to deal with that , it was just worth checking it out ...we went shopping , as you could see , only bought a few little trinkets , went to a burger joint we had never before tried , a little grocery shopping and picked up Sophie a new pair of shoes for $4.94 and now home , some times a doctor appt is a good excuse for a day off with your mom ...
gonna go try and get rid of these little grey hairs that I am now so blessed to be getting , its hard to feel young when I see grey hairs on MY head...how can that be I still feel 25...

Sorry to hear the test wasn;t different. But you are right: you ahve managed it very well and your sweet Sophie is thriving.
I had to remark on thoses carved bird wall hanging thingies. I clicked on the photo to see that they are $40 each. I hav eone of the blue ones, and I got it at The Christmas Tree Shop for $10. I wonder if they did, too...
Small world, isn't it?
Cheers,
Linda
I'm already getting grey hairs at 26. I guess it could be worse though.
Oh, no fun on the allergy! My hubby is not allergic to peanuts, but all tree nuts. It is hard to get around sometimes, and I hate it b/c nuts are so good! I wish he could enjoy them like we do.
GREAT excuse for a girls day out! I love that key rack too, along with many of the other things you showed. So fun!
Have a great day!
Oh ya, and ditto on the grey hair. I have lots. :(
Hi, I am a relatively new reader, but love your style! I have a two year old allergic to peanuts, and I know how you feel...we discovered it in much the same way you did with a breathless call to 911 and not breathing well almost 2 year old.
I am commenting because we are in Philadelphia and our Children's Hospital has recommended the desensitization treatment that has been successful in almost all of it's participants. Here is a link discussing the treatment. It is in final stages of approval, so is technically still experimental...
Basically, she is exposed to small amounts of peanuts under a doctor's supervision...and this will help build her immunity to them over time, she will hopefully overcome the allergy.

Good luck!
Love the chair.
I have an 11 year old with peanut/tree nut allergies and we too had her have the blood test to see if there was a chance she could outgrow it. Unfortunately for us, it too was negative. It is such a bummer to live with but gradually over time I feel like it is becoming easier as she gets older. We have always taught her that it is up to her to keep herself safe as no one else will! It is shame how misunderstood this allergy is! I pray that someday there will be a "cure". Good luck to you!
Newly wife ,
Jump on it , if they are offering you this treatment , I would in a heartbeat , I can not find any treatment programs here , I have been looking , as soon as there is one I will be all over it , I know all about it , it is very promising.
