After getting the girls school photos back and hearing that they were not happy with how they turned out , I thought we could give it a shot....I would take them out to some outdoor locations before all the fall leaves were gone and try it on my own.

So after dragging my tween daughter away from her friends {she tried to get out of it} we set off to find a couple of locations , I remembered an abandoned old church with great brick and our local pond area, both great backdrops...
I love how the wind blew her hair , oh and great news , they both found photos from our shoot to love...

Hey! I love the last shot of Mason. Are you any good at Photoshop? If so, this is a REALLY good candidate. Pioneer Woman has a shot very similar to this that she really made pop, using photoshop. i'll try to find the link....
what little models you have!! such great pictures!
ok, here are a few links that are cool!

I love that last one of Mason too ... but love the contemplative one where you caught the side of her .... Beautiful pictures of your beautiful daughters!
Lovely pics! :)

Cute pics of cute little princesses. :) Picasa is awesome too! Check it out. So easy and you can download straight to blogger. It's my savior. :)
Mason is so hip in her glasses! Of course, I am partial to glasses....ha
Beautiful pictures Chris. Your girls are getting so grown up. I love these pictures instead of the school ones too. You get a lot more variety and a few more tries to make sure they are how you like them. I think when my baby is born I might do the same thing.
take care
Lisa
These are beautiful pics of your girls:) I had a different problem than you. Mine was that my 7 yr. old daughter's school pics turned out beautiful but we couldn't afford any since school pics are just so darn expensive! We ended up getting ONE 5x7 for the wall. amen. :(
