I am happy to say that I did after all get the two wicker chairs , for a whopping $30.00 each{origional price $150~each plus cushion $29~} , with a cushion, I will have to recover the cushion , but I am happy with how they look and the husband tested them and they passed the comfort test. Happy find.
Total amount saved by being thrifty and lucky , $300.00

I LOVE the chairs. From the pictures, the color they are looks nice. But painting them may be nice. What colors are you thinking? Your dining area looks so inviting. I need to re-do my table and chairs, but I am "stuck" in what direction to go. Thanks for the inspiration.

Love your new chairs- I have oversized wicker chairs at the heads of my dining room table and I love them!
What an amazing find! They are so cottagey! I LOVE them as is, although I am sure a painted finish would be lovely too. I personally would leave them in their natural state.

Thanks for the tip on the other four! I am blown away with how they have transformed my dining room. Now I have to sell the 6 I had that didn't fit as perfectly as these. I need to score 2 end chairs that I will slipcover.
I may or may not paint the four them but have some other decisions to make for the room first. I love how they look natural in your space though!
