I have toyed with the idea to get bunkbeds for Sophie , her room is very small, I think it would help with space, she does not have a sibling that she needs to share her room with , I just think bunkbeds are fun and pretty now too and great for sleep over guests, she is on board, on weekends my two girls always sleep togther just by choice , which I think is adorable.

Here are few good examples for my choosing, it will depend on price abviously. What will we do?So that would mean two matresses and two sets of sheets comforters...oh my do we need a bunk bed?

Hi Chris,
I like the idea of the bunkbeds if Sophie has a lot of sleepovers. If I were you, though, I'd get the kind that has a larger bottom bed. That way, when she is older and taller it will be more comfortable, and the top bed will make a great option for a spare bedroom. Just a thought...As for the extra bedding purchase, I'm sure you will have a lot of fun buying new!! I saw the most beautiful April Cornell bedding in Halifax this weekend. It was candlewick style and was in pink or yellow. To die for...Have fun!!

Hah, I am getting rid of my bunkbeds! Though ours are the cheapo metal. They have done well and the white always looked nice and crisp. We need to replace them because Sam is so big now and they squeak like crazy when you climb in or out.

I do hate making a bunkbed...pain in the blankety blank! But I love the ones you are choice would be either one in white!

Oh, they look adorable! trundle beds are really cool too. You know, where you pull a bed from underneath the other. :)

Did you see the beds that were featured on Linda's blog? The second from the top offers storage and two beds - I think they are really expensive though. Personally, bunk beds make me nervous. It is a long way for a little person to fall and who wants to sleep on the bottom? My husband wants to get them for our boys, but I told him I would never sleep. I would always be waiting to hear the thud.
Thanks for your kind comments on my blog. Have a good weekend.

I love all of the bunkbeds you posted. My 6 year old daughter would love to have them too and she doesn't share a room. She just considers them to be a grand adventure.
